Early and Academic Life

Randhir Singh Bhindar also known as Bhindar Maharaj Sahab, was born on the 10th February, 1958 in Royal Palace (Rajmahal) of Bhindar in Udaipur district of Rajasthan to Maharaj Saheb Bhairav Singh Ji and Ranisa Anand Kanwar. He is the 19th descendant of Maharaj Shakti Singh Ji. Shakti Singh Ji was the younger brother of Maharana Pratap.

His ancestors were honoured by the especial status of Umrao (Knights) in the Princely State of Mewar due to their outstanding services to protect the Mewar against invaders, their role in development and history of the Mewar. Bhindar is one of the 16 Umraos (nobles) of Mewar.

He inherited the title of Maharaj at the tender age of 11 when his father passed away. After the sad demise of his father, his mother Ranisa Anand Kanwar made sure he gets the best of education and grows into a wonderful human being. Since his childhood Randhir Singh Bhindar has a passion of social work and to serve the society.
He is graduated in Agriculture Science (B.Sc) and Post graduated in Agriculture Extension (MSc).
He adopted farming as his profession due to his vast knowledge on the subject. He is also a mass farmer leader of Rajasthan.

He married Rani Deependra Kumari, daughter of Rajkumar Karan Singh Ji Chauhan of erstwhile Wao state on the 7th of July, 1982. Since his childhood Maharaj Saheb Randhir Singh Bhindar  had a passion for social work like his late father Maharaj Bhairav Singh Ji. He got immense pleasure in serving the society. His wife too shared a similar interest. So in 1995, along with his wife he opened a school to impart quality education for the children of Bhindar.

Later on, he also ventured into the hospitality sector by converting a part of the ‘Bhindar Palace’ into a heritage hotel. It’s one of the famous destinations around Udaipur now.
